The all important question. Partly the reason the whole gPhone rumours began flying was because the iPhone was being praised and people wondered if Google wished to deal yet another devastating blow to their competitors, in this case, Apple.

But can they do it?

In our opinion, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that the gPhone will completely pwn the iPhone.

Google is the biggest website in the world, surely a simple ad on the homepage would yield huge sales? We use google so much, so we know and trust it. Why not use their brand of phone too?

You’ve seen Google earth, so if they can manage to get satellite images of almost everywhere on the planet, so it’s no surprise they’re purchasing their own frequency for the phone.

Plans also show that the gPhone will be using open source Android platform, which will allow a helluva lot of applications to be written specifically for the product.

Google have seen their competition, and now aim to top it comfortably. They have the money and the power, so what’s stopping them?
